Helllllo!!!
I was bored today so I decided to try a new nail technique. (Well...New to me anyways.) Water marbling. Omg. Sooooooooooo much easier than I thought it would be!!! I have a mini perfectly posh convention coming up next month and I wanted to try something fun for my nails. So since poshs main color is pink I chose to use 3 different shades of pink. I had 4 but the fourth wouldn't spread in the water like it's supposed to. That's the main thing....If you want to try this make sure your polish spreads out once it hits the water or it won't work. Check out tutorials on YouTube.
To start with I painted my nails with a really super pale shade of pink from Sally Hansen called satin. Once that was dry I poured some room temperature bottled water into a shot glass. The put drops of Sally Hansen rock me baby, OPI be a dahlia won't you and a pink shimmer polish I picked up in my recent trip to Hawaii. Swirled them together with a toothpick to get the marbling look. Bent my finger and stuck my finger [n top of the water and viola. Marbled nails. Pretty good for my first try. Most tutorials I watched on it say to tape around your nail so it's not such a big mess to clean up but I found that made it harder for me to get finger in the shot glass. I just looked up water marbling on YouTube and kinda took from each one. :) I'm now obsessed with this technique. Next up.....I'm thinking purples and teals....hmmmm.....need to dig through my nail polish stash and see what I come up with. :)
They're so PRETTTTYYYY! Maybe I will just do a marble post lol :D
