now.....i must tell you...i recently died my hair.....not using the madison reed box i got...im saving that for fall. :) no. i used a brand of dye a friend had told me about,swore it was really awesome. wellllllllllllll...............i was really disappointed in it. sparks premium long lasting bright hair dyes on amazon. i had gotten the electric blue and purple passion. biiiiiiiiiiiig let down. my hair is naturally dark brunette,so of course i bleached it first. went as light as i could. the blue just turned my hair ashy green and you can barely see the purple. the purple is lightening up now that its been washed a few times but the blue is still ashy green from what i can tell.
i guess next time ill stick to brands i know like manic panic or ion.
GIRL I am telling you!!! I have many many times dyed my hair wacky colors. What volume developer did you use?? I use 30 if I'm going to put a bright color over it or sometimes even 40 if I need it light fast. But the 40 fries your hair if you're not careful. Manic panic SUCKS. LOL it smells good, and looks good for like a day and then it's all faded out within like a week. TRUST ME ON THIS. USE SPECIAL EFFECTS. Sometimes it's so sold out it's hard to find but they have a whole section on their website of how people's hair looks with it. I forgot to send you those pics yesterday of my hair... I'll do it right now. OH! & I CAN'T freaking wait to compare our rocks boxes!!!!! :) :) :)
